Lanolinum ad usum in sequentibus commendatur: praeparationibus infantilibus, protectione capillorum, labellis, shampois in pasta, cremore radendo, cremis solaris protectoriis, cremore ad ustiones, sapone manuum, cremore labiorum, fucis, productis animalium domesticorum, plastificante capillorum laccato, cremis et lotionibus protectoriis. Est emolliens efficacissimum ad hydrationem (aequilibrium humoris) strati cornei restituendam et conservandam, atque ita siccitatem et fissuras cutis impedit. Aeque magni momenti est quod transpirationem normalem cutis non mutat. Lanolinum demonstratum est aquam in cute ad gradum normalem 10-30% accumulare efficere, per retardationem et non omnino inhibitionem iacturae humoris transepidermalis.
